About Snowman Jesus
Snowman Jesus is a serialized parable exploring the double paradox:
- Christianity thrives globally while declining in the West
- Countless intellectuals in the West, against the cultural stream, are moving toward faith
One factor holds the key to the two-pronged paradox: how we see truth.
What to Expect
A new short chapter is released daily for 22 days, following a young man's journey with four mentors representing radically different ways of understanding truth. Each mentor's worldview sparks a different type of faith - and different points of failure.
The parable is pattern recognition training disguised as story. The views you will encounter can best be described as a generous and inviting orthodoxy, similar to C.S. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton.
Why Serialized?
Complex ideas need time to marinate. Observation skills need to be awakened and developed. The slow drip release allows space for reflection, discussion, and deeper engagement with each concept before moving to the next.
Discussion Groups
The chapters are meant to be conversation starters. Comments and dialogue are encouraged - the best insights often emerge in conversation.
About the Author
I have been a pastor for three decades on three continents. Currently, as academic dean of an ABHE-accredited college, my life and prayers are poured into the development of Christian leaders across church and denominational boundaries, in places around the world where a trustworthy theological education that aims to develop understanding, skills, and character is harder to come by and desperately needed.
This exposure daily confirms what the parable explores: we live in a moment of both profound crisis and unprecedented opportunity.
